Perfect Framing for Needlework Pieces

Not everyone is aware of the special care that must be taken with framing needlework. It is a different medium than paper or photographs and must be treated differently in order to show off the genius and care put into the piece.

At Hall of Frame, we know just how to frame the art you can create within this medium, no matter the size of your masterpieces. We can help choose the perfect frame to set off your work — see what we can do for yourself.
At Hall Of Frame, our dedicated team specialises in providing exceptional needlework framing to customers throughout Doncaster East and the surrounding suburbs. From large tapestries to small embroidery pieces, we’ll find the best frame to suit your work. Our needlework frames are beautifully crafted from quality materials to do justice to your creation. Pam is a needleworker herself and knows how time consuming and precise needlework can be, thus ensuring that the finished product meets the standards of the most ardent stitcher.

Needlework framing: what’s involved?

Needlework framing: what’s involved?

As with all items that come through our doors, we’ll assess your needlework item to decide the best way to handle and display it so that it is not damaged in the process.
Needleworks are stretched over a rag mat and acid free rag foam core backing using stainless steel pins to hold it in place (similar to lacing). Tapestries are blocked back into shape, then stretched.
Our needlework framing team takes a huge amount of trouble over every item we frame, giving each one the care and attention it deserves.
